METHOD FOR RECORDING CANAL BROADCASTING OF TVCR HAVING PIP FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A method for recording CANAL broadcasting of TVCR having PIP function is provided to record one CANAL broadcasting by selecting inputted two CANAL broadcastings according to a control of a microprocessor. CONSTITUTION: A method for recording CANAL broadcasting is judged as to whether a mode of a TVCR is a TV seeing and hearing mode(S100). The method is judged as to a record key is inputted when the mode of the TVCR is the TV seeing and hearing mode(S150). The method is judged as to whether a seeing and hearing main picture is a CANAL channel when the record key is inputted(S200). The method is judged as to whether a PIP function is set in the TVCR when the seeing and hearing main picture is the CANAL channel(S250). The method is judged as to whether a sub picture is a broadcasting program of the CANAL channel when the PIP function is set(S350). An OSD picture for identifying a record is displayed on a CRT when the sub picture is the broadcasting program of the CANAL channel(S400). The method is judged as to whether a broadcasting program of a sub CANAL channel is recorded on a displayed OSD picture(S450). A blue-back is installed on a main picture and a message for recording a CANAL broadcasting is displayed on the main picture by a microprocessor when the broadcasting program of the sub CANAL channel is recorded(S500).
