SELECTIVE RECORDING METHOD ON TVCR HAVING PIP FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A selective recording method on TVCR having PIP function is provided to control recording by using switching device to record PIP screen as a user adds and deletes selectively sub screen to main screen. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer determines whether a user inputs a recording key(S100). A PIP function selection screen is displayed if the input of the recording key is confirmed(S200). The microcomputer determines whether the PIP function is to be selected according to the user's key input in the PIP function selection screen(S300). A switching part switches a mixing image signal from a mixing part to a deck part and the deck part records the mixing image signal, if the microcomputer selects the PIP function(S400). If the microcomputer does'n't select the PIP function, the switching part switches a main image signal from a main image processor to the deck part and the deck part records the main image signal(S500).
