PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically changing guide color of screen on a broadcasting satellite receiver is provided to automatically change colors of a guide screen according to setup time, and to change of display of the guide screen to a favorable color of a user at regular time. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically changing colors of guide screen on a broadcasting satellite receiver comprises an option screen storage unit(75), a key inputter, a timer(85), an OSD(On Screen Display) outputter(95), a color setup storage unit(65), a color signal controller(100), and a controller(80). The option screen storage unit stores an option screen for changing colors of a guide screen. The key inputter inputs a setup of a user on the option screen. The timer recognizes present time. The OSD outputter outputs the option screen as an OSD screen when commanding a color change of the guide screen. The color setup storage unit stores option in the option screen. The color signal controller converts the colors of the guide screen according to the inputted setup. The controller outputs the option screen as the OSD screen, and changes the colors of the guide screen into the set colors when it is the set time. The option screen storage unit stores the guide screen. The option screen selecting the guide screen is a screen for setting up time, a screen for setting up colors, a screen for setting up brightness.
