PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to reduce costs, the required time, and a forming space by easily forming a fluorescent screen of a color image indicator having an irregular pattern. CONSTITUTION: An ink jet head(104) having a spraying nozzle includes screen masks(101R,101G,101B) to guide ink(107) sprayed through the nozzle to a desired position. To form a three-color fluorescent screen, the ink jet head approaches to the upper portion of a panel glass(105) having black matrices(106). And, the screen masks forming the desired pattern are inserted between the panel glass and the ink jet head. The ink is dropped on the screen masks after spraying the ink through the nozzle of the ink jet head. The ink is painted on the desired position between the matrices through a pattern hole(103) of the screen masks. Therefore, the three-color fluorescent screen is formed by repeating the process.
