METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY RECORDING URGENT NEWS

PURPOSE: A method for automatically recording urgent news is provided to repeatedly record a same urgent news by judging as to whether a broadcasting is a urgent broadcasting using a broadcasting code and recording an initial urgent broadcasting when the broadcasting is a urgent broadcasting. CONSTITUTION: A method for automatically recording urgent news is identified as to whether a power of a television is turned off(S101). A voluntary channel is tuned and a broadcasting signal is searched when the power of the television is turned off(S102). The method is judged as to whether a urgent broadcasting signal is detected among the searched broadcasting signal(S103). The urgent broadcasting code is stored in a storing means when the urgent broadcasting signal is detected, and a urgent broadcasting is recorded(S104,S105). New broadcasting information is searched through a current tuned channel and it is judged as to whether a urgent broadcasting code is detected among searched broadcasting information(S106,S107). The urgent broadcasting stored in the storing means is compared with the detected broadcasting code when the urgent broadcasting code is detected(S108).
