The invention concerns a position sensor (60) for a mobile part capable of actuating a push button (66) of the sensor and more precisely a mechanism directing the sensor push button. The sensor comprises: a guide (62) adjustable in rotation in a body (64) about a first axis of rotation XX', and a push button (66) sliding without rotation inside the guide (62) along said axis XX'; a positioner (8) locking the guide in rotation inside the body about the axis or rotation in a specific angular position. The positioner being irremovably fixed in the body and comprising, either several tabs (98, 104) uniformly distributed around the guide and capable of penetrating in a positioning groove (102) to lock the guide, or several positioning grooves (102), wherein one tab (98, 104) can penetrate to lock the guide. The invention is useful for detecting the position of moving mechanical elements.
