PURPOSE: A refrigerator able to improve the heat exchange efficiency by returning the cool air circulating a freezing chamber and a refrigeration chamber to the other parts of an evaporator. CONSTITUTION: A cool air generating in a heat exchange chamber having an evaporator is supplied to a freezing chamber(20) via a cool air vent hole by a blower fan. The cool air circulating the freezing chamber returns to the front face of the evaporator via a freezing chamber returning inlet formed on the bottom of a grill fan, and the cool air circulating a refrigeration chamber(50) returns to the rear face of the evaporator via a return channel(74) of a duct of a refrigeration chamber(62) and a return guide(72). Herein, the part contacting with the evaporator is maintained uniformly by contacting each air via the front and rear faces of the evaporator. Thereby the heat exchange efficiency is improved. And the flow of air passing through the evaporator becomes uniform according to the unified amount of frost generating on the evaporator.
