PURPOSE: An alarm device is provided to inform a collision with a power line of an elevated construction or an obstacle that is potentially dangerous before a real contact generates to a manipulator of a telescoping mast or an arm type device. CONSTITUTION: A pole alarm housing(100) is composed of an AC sensor(10), a collision sensor(11), an AC sensor antenna(45), a look up light(12), a control unit(13), a mast or a boom(26) and a cover cable(65). Herein, if the present pole alarm device senses a possible collision or a dangerous AC electric field during a state of monitoring, a safety control module generates an audible alarm sound through a speaker and shows the cause of an alarm condition to a manipulator. In addition, during the condition of alarm, the additional extension of the mast or boom is automatically blocked, and a system preparation indicator goes dark.
