<p>The invention solves the problem of designing a structure for a water tank for fire-fighting from a helicopter ensuring the possibility of its being mounted on helicopters, characterised by a minimal vertical clearance and a tank structure not subjected to permanent deformation during landing to the maximum sweep of the landing gear. The inventive water tank consists of a top panel (3) and a bottom panel (4) provided with water releasing valves (9) and a mechanism for opening and closing them, and side walls (5), characterised in that said side walls (5) made of elastic water-repellent fabric are provided, at mid-height, with rings through which passes an elastic rubber cord (7), while the top panel (3) connected inside the tank to the bottom panel (4) with suspension wires (8) comprises a mechanism for raising the bottom panel (4) when it is being drained. The mechanism raising the bottom panel (4) consists in an assembly of guide pulleys (29), (30) and (31), hooks (27), (28) and cables (21), (22), (23), (24), (25) and (26) as well as gas springs (19) and (20), connected to slide valves (17), (18), located on the guide (16) fixed to the top panel (3).</p> |
