PURPOSE: A retinol stabilizing cleansing composition is provided which is a stable formulation containing a skin enhancing agent such as a retinol and a pH-dependent activator, so it is useful to produce the skin enhancing agent such as the retinol by applying locally to skin of human or animals.. CONSTITUTION: The retinol stabilizing cleansing composition comprises (a) the skin enhancing agent; (b) glycerin; (c) one more than emollient; (d) cocky isethionate or its salts, monoalkyl phosphate or its salt, or their combination neutralized in the rage of pH 5-8. The retinol stabilizing composition also comprises (e) water; (f) gum; (g) gum neutralized at the range of pH 5-8; (h) sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium salt of aliphatic taurate, acyl glutamate, alpha-olefin sulfate, sarcosinate or detergent additive selected from any combination of the substances; (i) disodium cocaine monoethanolamine sulfosuccinate and cocaine betaine mixture; (j) anti-bacterial agent; (k) micro crystalline wax; (l) foam booster; (m) anti-oxidant agent; (n) UV stabilizing agent; (o) sunbeams intercepting agent; (r) antiseptic; (s) cheating agent; (i) physical exfoliant; or (u) one more than any combination of the substances.
