PURPOSE: A multi Liquid Crystal Displayer(LCD) is provided to form an image without an interval by using a highly bright LCD, an optical viewing angle LCD and plural LCDs by realizing the lighting device with excellent efficiency of light and with high collimating property. CONSTITUTION: A collimator(11) is arranged on the side surface of a lighting body(20) formed by transparent acryl resin as a collimating instrument in a lighting instrument(10). The lighting instrument contains one end part having a fluorescent lamp of cold cathode and a reflective plate(41) for covering the fluorescent lamp and the projecting side of the lighting body with converter(30) of polarized light. Herein, a tube with diameter for 2.2mm and length for 292.5mm is used for a light source(40). A cylindrical reflective plate is used for the reflective plate to surround the fluorescent lamp and the material with refractive rate for 1.49 and size for 292.5mmX21.5mmX12.4mm is used for the light body. Herein, the rear surface of lighting body is formed for emitting the light from the collimator as a band shape according to the pitch of the converter of the polarized light.
