PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a combustor which can deal easily with difference in machine type while reducing the cost by a structure wherein a mixing section comprises a mixing section unit having a fuel gas intake opening and a combustion primary air intake opening at a common position and a combustion section couples a plurality of mixing sections unit in parallel. SOLUTION: When a combustor 2 is operated, combustion primary air is supplied from an air supply fan 20 and introduced through air supply regulation holes 18a-18c and primary air intake openings 15a, 15b into mixing sections 11a, 11b. At the same time, main gas valve of a gas pipe 21 is opened to supply fuel gas from the gas pipe 21 to a manifold 22 thence through a gas supply section and a nozzle inserted into a fuel gas intake opening 14 to the mixing sections 11a, 11b. The combustor 2 controls fuel gas supply and interruption from the manifold 22 to the mixing sections 11a, 11b through solenoid valves 23a-23c such that combustion plates 12a, 12b can be switched freely between complete combustion and partial combustion.
