AXIAL FORCE GENERATOR AND TRACTION DERIVE SPEED CHANGE GEAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial force generator capable of generating sufficient axial force even at an emergency torque range without reducing fatigue life and a traction drive speed change gear. SOLUTION: This speed change gear is provided with a traction drive mechanism and an axial force generator. The axial force generator is provided with two rotary cams and a roller. Each rotary cam 12 forms a cam surface 12a forming a decreased lead angle toward the vicinity of a projected part P11. This generates comparatively low axial force on the low torque side having the increased lead angle, and comparatively high axial force on the high torque side having the decreased lead angle. Thus, properly using the axial force having different force reinforces the axial force at a required torque range without reducing fatigue life.
