PHOTO SCANNER, CODE SCANNER, AND BAR CODE SCANNER FOR INCREASING DEGREE OF FREEDOM OF OPTICAL COMPONENTSARRANGEMENT

PURPOSE: A photo scanner, a code scanner, and a bar code scanner increasing Deree of freedom of optical components arrangement are provided to realize complete 360 degree reading by reducing thickness of the lowermost part and to increase degree of freedom of optical components arrangement by installing the scanner in above a side part. CONSTITUTION: A light source(5) emits laser light. A polygonal mirror(6) scans laser light emitted from the light source(5). A pattern mirror consisting of seven mirror generates a scanned line forming a scan pattern by suitably reflecting the scanned light from the polygonal mirror(6). A light inspecting device(8) receives reflected light from a bar code, then, outputs electric signal according to the amount of the reflected light. An analog-to-digital converter(9) converts the output signal(analog signal) to a digital signal. A main print substrate(10) has a decoder demodulating the bar code according to the output signal from An analog-to-digital converter(9).
