PURPOSE: A filtering device is provided to lower a valley as amplifying a slope, for filtering a sound signal having a characteristic of a frequency spectrum which slopes are differentiated by the valley. CONSTITUTION: A filtering device(20) receives a sound signal(21) having a spectrum(11) and generates the signal(22) filtered having a spectrum(13) from an output end. The filtering device(20) is composed of: a predictive analysis circuit(23) of a short time LPC type for deciding an LPC parameter of the sound signal, and an extraction circuit(25) for operating by cooperating with a computation unit to supply a pole value extracted to the input end of the computation unit(26) synthesizing a digital zero/pole rear filter, which is filtering the sound signal(21) to obtain the signal(22), and for extracting the pole value from the output end of the predictive analysis circuit(23).
