PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for establishing security connection on unilateral data path is provided to facilitate secured data transmission through a unilateral channel, that is, a narrow band channel. CONSTITUTION: A client(254,256) and a server(252) can be connected by not only a narrow band channel(258,262) but also a broadband channel(260,264), and data is transferred in security between the client and the server on the narrow band channel. A method for establishing security connection on unilateral data path includes the steps of: connecting the client with the server on the broadband channel; exchanging security information between the client and the server on the broadband channel; encoding data transferred from the server to the client by using the security information in the server; and transferring the encoded data from the server to the client on the narrow band channel. |
