The matrix is formed by one or more stacked, dimensionally stable plates (10), especially made of plastic, in which cavities are located, formed by cutout penetrations (11, 12). Independent claims are included for filler bodies, and for the corresponding deep drawing process, in which the complementary filler bodies (33, 34) are placed on locations where deep drawing will occur. They are suited in size and shape, to sink into deep-drawing depressions during their production. Preferred features: The matrix comprises one or more acrylic plates. These have vent grooves facing the base, connecting to vent channels (16). Lower plates in a stack have recesses and/or interconnecting holes to vent grooves of upper plates. Plate thicknesses corresponds with deep drawing steps. In the method, the filler bodies may be adhered or fixed to the sheet, excluding air. They may include penetrations, to make cutouts. They are plastic, optionally injection-molded. Their contours are relieved by twice the sheet thickness or more, from the cavity contours.
