A system for keeping afloat any type of boat in case of a leak uses inflatable elements to be placed externally to the hull of the boat and comprises a plurality of automatically actuatable mechanisms when a water level sensor detects that the water inside the boat has reached a permitted maximum level thereby causing the opening of an electrovalve in order to let a pressure fluid pass through for the deployment of said floatation means. Alternatively, each deployment mechanism may consist of a pair of cylinders coupled to each other by threading through the wall of the hull, the cylinders enclosing internally the floatation means and including externally a lid on their external face, the lid being ejected by the internal pressure.
