Compensation procedure involves allowance in the sampling signal of the previous sampling period for capturing a signal and finally compensation of the phase delay caused by the anti-aliasing filter (2) by consideration of the filter time constant of the anti-aliasing filter, the sampling period of the sampling element (3) and the sample signal of the previous sampling period for signal capture. An Independent claim is made for an arrangement for use with the above procedure.
