PURPOSE: Present invention relates to a helical antenna having bent-segment radiators for compact size. CONSTITUTION: A bent-segment helical antenna is provided having one or more radiators(720). The radiators(720) comprises a first segment(712), a second segment(714) and a third segment(716). The first segment(712) extends from a first end(732) of a radiator portion(702) to a second end(734) of the radiator portion(702A, 702B). The second segment(714) is adjacent to the first segment(712) and extends from the second end(734) of the radiator portion(702A, 702B) to the first end(732) of the radiator portion(702). The third segment(716) connects the first segment(712) with the second segment(714).
