PURPOSE: A device for accumulating the paper of high efficiency is provided to slim in a simple constitution for a paper having a different size. CONSTITUTION: An accumulating device of the paper comprises of a driving roller(1), a driven roller(2), a sensor(3), an impeller(4), an accumulating guide(5), an accumulating space(6), an assistant returning device(7), a returning guide(8), a supporting plate(9), a bottom plate(10), and an upper plate(11). The accumulation is able to do without the upper plate(11) of the accumulating space(6) not by bounding the paper and the rear part of paper is accumulated by arranging in the bottom plate(10) because the paper is moved by rotating the impeller(4) after stopping the paper. When the returning is operated by mixing the paper of different size, the rear part of paper is accumulated with arranging in the bottom plate by operating a wing of the impeller for the rear part of different sized paper. And the paper of different size is accumulated with finely arranging by repeating these operations.
