PURPOSE: An auto answering conversion method for a telephone using a television is provided to prevent the generation of a receiving sound and make a telephone answering machine connected to a telephone be operated unconditionally from the point that the power of the television is off. CONSTITUTION: An access system of a telephone comprises a key signal input unit(90) and a control unit(100). The key signal input part comprises an OSD unit(60) outputting some character on a screen by an inputted operation control signal and has a voice transmission/reception function based upon the connection with a public communication network, and comprises a number of keys capable of generating a setup/release signal of a local connection mode and a DTMF(Dual Tone Multi Frequency) signal. The control unit controls the formation of a connection path of the public communication network and a central office line according to a signal being output from the key signal input unit, and applies an operation control signal to the OSD unit to output a specific indicate according to the formation of a calling path on the screen.
