PURPOSE: An apparatus for transmitting signals of cable broadcasting is provided to allocate/detect frequency of an empty transmission band among the cable transmission lines, by performing a feedback for frequency of a transmission band for a broadcasting signal using a present cable transmission line, if broadcasting signals for using bands of the cable transmission lines are increased. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for transmitting signals of cable broadcasting comprises a modulator (110), an RF(Radio Frequency) converter(120), a mixer(130), a frequency detector(140), and a frequency selector(150). The modulator supplies many broadcasting signals by modulating each broadcasting signal. The RF converter allocates the modulated broadcasting signals to a channel having high frequency regions, corresponding to transmission band frequency of cable lines which do not transmit, so as to transmit the signals to a transmission band which is presently not used, when allocating the signals to a predetermined channel having high frequency regions. The mixer loads the broadcasting signals of the allocated channel into the frequency of the corresponding transmission band of the cable transmission lines, and transmits the signals to a cable broadcasting subscriber. The frequency detector detects the frequency of the transmission band by a feedback. The frequency selector selects frequency of a band which is not transmitted from the frequency of the transmission band which is transmitted, and supplies the frequency to the RF converter. Frequency information of the transmission band capable of being transmitted is stored in the frequency selector through the cable lines. The frequency selector compares the stored frequency information with the frequency of the band which is presently transmitted, and detects the frequency which is not transmitted. |
