PURPOSE: A method for displaying a program guide screen for digital television is provided to devide a guide displaying section and a program section. CONSTITUTION: A method for displaying a program guide screen for digital television outputting channels or program information on the channels on an OSD(On Screen Display) screen, comprises a step of dividing an OSD screen region into two regions, arranging a program guide screen on one region, and arranging a program output region on the other region, not to disturbing program watching time when outputting the program guide screen. When dividing into two regions, transparency of the OSD region where programs are outputted is zero. Program information of each channel displays update information at regular time intervals. |
