DOCTOR FOR A SUCTION ROLL PARTICULARLY IN PAPER MACHINES

The invention relates to a doctor for a suction roll particularly in a paper machine, which doctor (10) is intended to remove water from a suction roll (15). The doctor (10) includes a doctor slat (12) fitted against the surface of suction roll (15) to extend essentially over the entire width of suction roll (15), as well as the doctor slat's (12) holder (20) and loading devices (19). In the direction of rotation of the suction roll (15), there is a doctor blade (13), which is as such known, with a blade holder (21) fitted to doctor (10) after doctor slat (12). Doctor blade (13) is arranged to remove the water lifted off suction roll (15) by doctor slat (12).
