METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF ACTIVATED CARBON FIBER THAT INTRODUCES CARBONIZED PROCESS

PURPOSE: A method for producing an activated carbon fiber is provided to improve the absorbing property for various absorbing materials, and to continuously show the absorbing characteristic by a surface functional group formed on the surface of the activated carbon fiber. CONSTITUTION: An activated carbon fiber is produced by carbonizing under a nitrogen atmosphere at 900, 1000, 1100, 1200, and 1300°C for 30-150minutes used to a general production of carbon fiber. The content of carbon is increased by removing non-carbon components, and the spot-like pored structure on the surface of the carbon fiber is developed with the discharge of non-carbon components by introducing the carbonizing process before an oxy PAN (Poly Acrylo Nitrile) fiber and/of its carbon fiber of high intensity are activated. And the absorbing property is improved by showing the uniform structure and the distribution of pore formed micro pores under 20Angstroms.
