PURPOSE: A system is provided to construct an effective network management system by synthesizing management functions provided in a TMN(Telecommunication Management Network) and plural functions of CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architecture) such as a Naming Service, a Lifecycle Service, and a Security Service. CONSTITUTION: A TMN and CORBA interlocking system is composed of a repository system(10) and a gateway(20). Herein, the repository system constructs database by parsing GDMO(Guideline for Definition of Managed Objects) text file, and the gateway connects the TMN and the CORBA through the information database in the corresponding repository system. And, the repository system is consisted of a GDMO parsing unit(11) and a meta-data repository(12). Then, the corresponding GDMO parsing unit obtains each information by parsing the GDMO text file having the information of objects to be defined as a GDMO/ASN.1(Abstract Syntax Notation 1). And, the corresponding meta-data repository stores the information obtained from the corresponding GDMO parsing unit in the database constructed by a meta-schema. The gateway is consisted of an OSI(Open System Interconnection) stack(21) and an IDL(interface Definition Language) interface(22). The OSI stack connects the TMN agent application processor with a CMIP(Common Management Interface Protocol), and the IDL interface connects the CORBA manager application processor with the CORBA/IIOP(Internet Inter ORB Protocol).
