METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING RESERVATION RECORD OF TVCR HAVING PIP FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A method for identifying reservation record of TVCR having PIP function is provided to conveniently know a progress situation of a reservation record by displaying a picture which is recorded as a PIP when seeing and hearing other broadcasting. CONSTITUTION: A microprocessor identifies as to whether a reservation record is selected and displays a menu picture of a reservation record setting as an OSD picture when the reservation record is selected(S100,S101). The microprocessor identifies as to whether the reservation record setting process is completed and periodically judges as to whether a broadcasting signal of a reservation set channel is inputted when the reservation record setting process(S102,S103). The microprocessor judges as to whether a current mode is a TV seeing and hearing mode and a broadcasting program of a current seeing and hearing channel is identical to the broadcasting program of the reservation set channel(S105). The microprocessor controls a mixing switching unit to display the broadcasting program of the reservation channel as a PIP picture and performs the reservation record when broadcasting program of a current seeing and hearing channel is identical to the broadcasting program of the reservation set channel(S107).
