摘要 PURPOSE: A hetero structural organic light emitting devices(OLED) is provided with a non-polymeric to have a highly advantageous flexibility. CONSTITUTION: A single hetero structural organic light emitting devices(OLED) includes a flexible substrate(2), a first electrode(4), a hole transporting layer(6), an electron transporting layer(8), a metal cathode layer of Mg-Ag(10) as a second electrode layer and a metal protective layer(12). The flexible substrate(2) is transparent. The first electrode(4) is an indium tin oxide (ITO) anode layer. And the metal protective layer(12) is made of a layer of Ag for protecting the Mg-Ag cathode layer from atmospheric oxidation. A double hetero structure also includes an additional layer containing an emissive material. This additional layer is a separate emissive layer so as to distinguish it from the other layers, since the hole transporting layer and the electron transporting layer are made to produce electro luminescent emission without the need for this separate emissive layer.
