PURPOSE: An electroluminescent lamp designs and methods of fabricating the same are provided for bright, durable, energy efficient, flexible electroluminescent lamp. CONSTITUTION: A laminar style lamp is provided. A first electrically conductive layer is prepared which includes one or more channels dividing the first electrically conductive layer into two or more electrically conductive elements. An electroluminescent material is deposited between or onto a portion of the electrically conductive elements. And at least one of the conductive elements has a width of less than 0.005 inches. An electroluminescent lamp of present invention also includes a depositing step, in which a translucent or transparent electrically conductive material is deposited on a portion of the electroluminescent material. |
