PURPOSE: A method for replacing a wire in a transmitting device is provided to transmit and to receive data by inserting Alarm Indication Signal(AIS) to a moving channel while generating the Loss Of Signal(LOS) of the moving channel. CONSTITUTION: A relay of received data is operated(200) by using a moving channel, and the reception of an LOS is detected(202). If the LOS is received, the AIS is transmitted(204) to a treating unit of a first managing pointer. Then, the data from the moving channel and from a reserve channel are synchronized for switching over(206) the receiving channel to the reserve channel. Also, the transmitting channel is switched over(208) to the reserve channel for operating(210) a transmitting mode to the reserve channel and for detecting the restore of the moving channel. Therefore, if the state of the LOS is released, the receiving and transmitting channel is switched over(214) to the moving channel. |
