PURPOSE: A TV set having functions for monitoring/displaying blood sugar is provided to monitor blood sugar of a user through a blood sugar monitor mounted thereon, and identify the user's health condition by comparing the monitored blood sugar with reference data according to Scopes inside, and by displaying the compared result. CONSTITUTION: A TV set includes an OSD(On Screen Display) generator(60) outputting OSD character data to display specific characters by a control signal, and includes a key inputter(98A) receiving data necessary for controlling. The TV set having functions of monitoring/displaying blood sugar comprises a storage unit(120), a blood sugar monitor(110), and a micom(100A). The storage unit stores data dividing changeable ranges of a user's blood sugar into predetermined regions, and data according to prescriptions of each region. The blood sugar monitor receives a medical treatment for monitoring the user's blood sugar, converts into digital data by analyzing the medical treatment, and outputs the result. The micom decides whether the user selected a blood sugar monitoring mode through the key inputter, stores data by receiving the data related to the blood sugar from the blood sugar monitor according to the request, compares with reference data according to each regions, and outputs the data to the OSD generator to display a prescription according to the result. |
