COOLING POT HAVING VERTICALLY CONTROLLABLE COIL PLATE

PURPOSE: An improved cooling pot is provided to be operated so the upper part of a coil formed in the pot as to be maintained a uniform height, and a controllable coil support unit is provided. CONSTITUTION: A cooling pot has an insulating side wall (30) opened the upper and the lower parts and arranged crosswise. A frame-formed base unit(32) opened the center is formed to support the port on a roller table. A pie-shaped lathe(34) is projected from the inside of the side wall. The inner end of the lathe(34) supports a vertically extended circular portion(36) of a central core(38). The core portion(36) is connected its upper part by a cap(40) and the core(38) limits a circular chamber(43) by locating on the center and by inwardly separating from the inside of the side wall (30). The lathe(34) is separated on a rim from the others and limits a close opening connected with a vertical slot between the core portion(36). A platform(50) maintains a falling distance of a ring uniformly by being descended gradually to maintain the rising upper part of the coil as an optimum level "L".
