PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for updating node status information and a computer readable medium and a computer readable medium are provided to reduce a processing time and a bandwidth required in status updates, by that a routing system uses status information fitting to a selected threshold amount. CONSTITUTION: Call centers(143-145) use an event-driven method having a filter to transport status updates to a network call-routing system(150). The filter prevents a slight status change from being reported to the network call-routing system. Each call center records status values that different splits transport to the call-routing system finally, and transports new status updates only to the call-routing system when the status value of the split is changed by the corresponding threshold amount of one split. On the other hand, in case of many splits, the number of status-impact events is high in general, but the amount of status change affected by each of the above events is slight. And reversely, in case of a few splits, the number of status-impact events is low in general, but the amount of status change affected by each of the above events is high. Therefore, essentially, in case of a few splits having a few events, status updates is transported at every event, but in case of many splits having many events, status updates is transported only for minimum number of events.
