<p>An ID entered from a personal computer or a mobile terminal is sent to an authentication server via a proxy server. In response to the ID, the authentication server sends current encrypting information to the proxy server. The proxy server provides the user terminal with one-time data input program based on the encrypting information. The program encrypts the password entered on the user terminal and sends it to the authentication server, and the authentication server then checks the validity. The intervention of the proxy server ensures the security of the authentication server. The provision of the one-time program in the form of a JAVA applet prevents illegal access by those intercepting the session.</p> |
