The container has a cylindrical outer wall (2) connected to the base (3) of the inner coaxial tapered wall (2) by the flat base plate (5). The outer wall can have holes (4) to allow plants to grow through from the contained growing medium. Set into the base plate (5) are four conical protrusions (6), each with an aperture (6a) in its upper end. The protrusions provide drainage, but allow some water to collect in the bottom of the container.
