METHOD FOR ADDITIONALLY RECORDING VISS MARK IN REPRODUCING MODE OF TVCR

PURPOSE: A method for additionally recording VISS(video index search system) mark in reproducing mode of TVCR is provided to easily search a wanted position of a video tape by additionally record a VISS mark to a wanted portion of the video tape. CONSTITUTION: A timer identifies as to whether a VISS mark additional key is inputted and displays a message for asking an identification of a VISS mark additional record on a CRT unit(S100,S101). The timer identifies as to whether a YES key is inputted and a system controller judges as to whether a video tape inserted into a deck unit are a video tape for reproduction(S102,S103). The timer controls an OSD processing unit to display a certain message(S104). The system controller set a record/reproducing tape judging signal as an active high level when the YES key is inputted(S105,S106). The system controller recognizes a reproducing tape as a recording tape and records the VISS mark to a wanted corresponding position control track(S107).
