PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively confine a mist formed of a spray type moistening apparatus by providing a negative pressure difference unit for generating a pressure difference at a gap formed between a shield belonging to a rotary surface and a rotary surface as a boundary. SOLUTION: A rotary element 1 having a surface 2 is rotated at an axis as a center in a direction of an arrow 3. An upper shield 6 and a lower shield 7 are arranged on the rotary surfaces 2 to form upper and lower gaps 4, 5. An atomizing nozzle 8 is provided at nominal center lines as a center at rear ends of the shields 6, 7 formed with individual confirming regions 9, and the regions 6 are connected to a suction device 11 such as a pump or the like by a connecting tube 10. A separating unit 13 having a partition wall 14 is disposed in the device 11, and here a solvent-air mixture is separated. The solvent is collected at a bottom of the unit 13, the separated air is taken out through an air outlet 15, and the solvent is taken out through an outlet 16.
