PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-gas reactor dispensing with the exchanging work of a solid packing material, free from the deterioration of process performance, facilitated in the operation of en equipment and small in the deterioration of working environment even if the solid packing material is powdered. SOLUTION: Relating to this solid-gas reactor provided with a hopper 4 for storing the solid packing material reacting with a treating gas and a reactor 1, in which a solid packing material is packed, for introducing the treating gas and discharging the treated gas after the reaction, a screw 2 for transporting the solid packing material upward and continuously discharging the solid packing material from the reactor 1 is arranged and the hopper 4 and the reactor 1 are communicated with each other so that the solid packing material is supplied from the hopper 4 to the lower part of the reactor by naturally flowing down in accordance with the discharge of the solid packing material from the reactor 1.
