PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for extruding a frozen dessert, capable of preventing a vacuum state from generating in a pressure chamber, when a piston is backward moved to spread a receiving chamber. SOLUTION: An auxiliary passage 35 is disposed between a pressure chamber 17 and a tank 25. The first non-return valve 38 for shutting a flow directed from the tank 25 to the pressure chamber 17 and the second non-return valve 48 for shutting an inversely directed flow are arranged in the auxiliary passage 35. The first non-return valve 38 is forcibly opened, when a rod 44 is pressed with the ceiling surface 14 of the hollowed hole 14 of a piston 13. When a pack is exchanged, a pump 27 is inversely rotated to suck a brine X from the pressure chamber 17, thus lowering the piston 13. Therein, even when the suction action is still continued after the arrival of the piston 13 at the lowest position, the rod 44 is pressed with the ceiling surface 14A to open the first non-return valve 38. Thereby, the brine X is allowed to flow into the pressure chamber 17 through the auxiliary passage 35, thus preventing the generation of a vacuum state.
