PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inner through rod capable of smoothly sliding a fishing line without reducing the sliding resistance caused by accumulated water in the passage of the fishing line. SOLUTION: This inner through rod is provided by forming a fishing line passage 10 at the inside of its rod body 1. At the inner circumferential surface of the fishing line passage 10, a first fishing line-supporting projection 11 formed as a spiral state and having a cross section of a trapezoidal shape and second fishing line-supporting projection 12 formed as a spiral state and having a cross section of a trapezoidal shape are formed. The rod body 1 is a tapering off state and the fishing line passage 10 is also a tapering off state having the smaller diameter at the more tip side. The first fishing line-supporting projection 11 and the second fishing line-supporting projection 12 are each formed as spiral state having 30-60 deg. angles against the shaft direction of the rod body 1.
