PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive the formation of spheroid and the culture for a long time a primary hepatic cell by culturing the primary hepatic cell using a culture bed coated with a polymer substance containing a phenylboronic acid group, or the like. SOLUTION: This culture bed is composed of a copolymer of a monomer containing a phenylboronic acid group with a monomer containing an amino group and 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate, coated with a polymeric substance such as a polymer of the formula which enables the culture and maintenance of a primary hepatic cell for >=30 days. Preferably, even when the primary hepatic cell is cultured for >=30 days, the cell keeps an albumin secreting action.
