PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover for an automobile suppressing the internal temp. rise of the car, preventing a burn of on-board electronic appliance such as car navigation system, stereophonic apparatus, etc., caused by direct sun beams, protecting the windshield against snow or freezing, protecting privacy, and allowing one person to simply perform mounting and removal. SOLUTION: A cover for an automobile is composed of a body 1 comprising a covering 1a for windshield, a window covering part 1b for driver's seat, window covering part 1c for a front passenger seat and a covering part 1d to cover the front half of the ceiling, and mounting parts provided on the cover body 1 for attaching the cover body 1 to the automobile. It may also be acceptable that the cover body 1 covers a wiper accommodation part 2 and a nozzle 3 part for spouting the windshield washing water.
