PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article casing apparatus wherein articles, which are carried in two longitudinal and lateral rows, can be cased inside a box according to a size of the articles while the articles are gathered toward the center. SOLUTION: The casing apparatus 1 includes a suction disk support 8 which reciprocates between above an article pool position where articles A are fed in two longitudinal and lateral rows and above a casing position where a box B is located, a reciprocating means 9 for reciprocating the suction disk support 8, a lifting means 29 for raising/lowering the suction disk support 8, suction disks 10 attached in two longitudinal and lateral arrays below the suction disk support 8, a disk 11 mounted on the suction disk support 8, and a rotating means 13 for rotating the disk 11. Four arcuate grooves which extend across in the vicinity of a periphery and the vicinity of a center and intersect with a diameter slantly are bored on the disk 11, the suction disks 10 are made slidable along a diagonal line of the box B, and their upper portions are inserted into the arcuate grooves.
