PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress difference of density among respective ink chambers by applying a correction pulse voltage of such a magnitude as causing no ink ejection from an ink chamber in a pressurizing means of other ink chamber when ink is not ejected from other ink chambers on the opposite sides which can eject ink simultaneously with the ink chamber. SOLUTION: Ink chambers 26A, 26G do not eject ink but the wall on the opposite sides is varied some extent upon application of a correction pulse voltage to generate a pressure. Consequently, pressure difference between ink chambers 26B, 26C and ink chambers 26E, 26F is decreased as compared with a case where the ink chambers 26A, 26G are brought to electrode ground potential. Consequently, the wall between the ink chambers 26B, 26C and the wall between the ink chambers 26E, 26F are not deformed significantly and the pressure generated in an ink chamber 26D can be prevented from leaking to the adjacent ink chamber side. According to the arrangement, oscillation period of the pressure generated in the ink chamber 26D can be prevented from being affected with time as much as possible.
