SOLUTION: Attapulgite or sepiolite is used as a structural material for the dioxin removing material X. The dioxin in a gas is adsorbed and removed by the dioxin removing material X blown in a powdery state to then dioxin- containing gas G. Or the dioxin in a gas or liquid is adsorbed and removed by the dioxin removing material X in a dioxin removing layer by passing the dioxin-containing gas G or dioxin-containing liquid through the dioxin removing layer formed by containing the dioxin removing material X.
