<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adsorbing and separating carbon dioxide from mixed gas containing carbon dioxide by using an adsorbent in which performance for adsorbing carbon dioxide is excellent. SOLUTION: In the method for removing carbon dioxide from mixed gas which consists of at least two kinds of components containing carbon dioxide, by bringing the mixed gas into contact with an adsorbent, pressure at the time of contact is 5-20 atm and the atomic ratio of Si/Al in a skeleton is substantially 1.0, and >=70 equivalent % of ion exchangeable cations contained in zeolite is one kind of ion of alkali metal ions. X-type zeolite having >=35 Ncc/g adsorption volume of carbon dioxide at 25 deg.C and at 3 mmHg pressure is used as the adsorbent.</p> |
