PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass plate storage method for providing the high storage efficiency by storing a plurality of glass plates to be used as a base material of a flat display panel through interleaving papers interposed among the glass plates, reducing the degree of pollution by interposing the interleaving papers on the glass plate faces and also reducing the generation of marks. SOLUTION: A steel holding stand 14 mounted on a pallet 13 is provided with a placing face 14a for mounting glass plates G in the vertical direction and a backrest face 14b extended from the rear end of the mount face 14a toward the vertical direction, and the mount face 14a is formed into the section L-shaped inclining toward the backrest face 14b downward by 6 deg.. Two hundred glass plates G are stored in a manner of being rested against holding stand 14, and interleaving papers 15 are interposed in the clearances of respective glass plates G.
