PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly coat a photo-catalyst film having high quality and durability on a bottom surface of float glass. SOLUTION: By a process that a coating soln., in which an org. metal compd. and superfine particles of oxide are added to a solvent, is baked after directly coating it on a bottom surface of float glass, the glass is directly coated with a coating film having photo-catalytic function, which is composed of 70-90 wt.% titanium oxide, 5-15 wt.% metal oxide for matrix formation, and 5-15 wt.% superfine particles of the oxide.
