PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-size heat sealer for sealing a food pack. SOLUTION: A heat sealer 1 has a recess 11a and a projection 12 and a heater 20. A food pack 50 comprises a container and a lid, and a lid is spread over the container with food stored inside the container. The recess 11a and projection 12 can relatively be moved close to and apart from each other. Between the recess 11a and projection 12 the recess 11a and projection 12 sandwich part of the superimposed portion of the container and lid when the lid is spread over the container, and they exert pressure thereto. The heater 20 heats the projection 12.
